Mr. GUO Wei is the Chairman of the Digital China Holdings Limited. In 2000, Guo Wei led the team to start a new business and successfully built it into China's No.1 IT services brand. With the goal to “Digitalize China”, Digital China capitalized on globalization and its ability to integrate the full IT industry chain under Mr. Guo’s leadership, the company’s accumulated experience and innovation after years of service. In 2010, Mr. Guo was to first to address the Sm@rt City strategy – the mission to digitize China -symbolized by a fusion of IT services that conformed to the unity of urbanization, informatization and industrialization advocated in the 12th Five-year plan.

Mr. Guo has been awarded many major prizes, including China’s Top Ten Outstanding Youths (2002), the First Annual China Young Entrepreneurs Creative Management Golden Honor (2005) and the Meritorious Awards for Decades of China Software Industry (2011). He is currently a Standing Committee Member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a Standing Committee Member of the 4th Advisory Committee for State Informatization, President of Beijing IT Association etc.
